FINDLETON ESTATE WINERY
          July Wine Club Release

FINDLETON ESTATE WINERY JULY WINE CLUB:

2013 Chardonnay $22.00: Our 2013 Chardonnay received a Gold Medal at the El Dorado County Wine Competition.  It is a light gold in color, crisp and refreshing with layers of pear, orange blossoms and a citrus finish. Soft oak and subtle butter complete this Chardonnay and leaves you with a long dramatic finish.  Pair with your favorite summer salads, fresh seafood, and curries.

2012 Mourvedre $22.00:  It is no wonder that our 2012 Mourvedre won Double Gold at the EDC Wine Competition and Gold at Amador this year!  Proudly wearing artist, Pamela Findleton's label, "Waiting" that is exactly what this wine has done.  Mourvedre is a late ripening wine from the Rhone Region of France.  Patiently, it waited in Marchini Vineyards, until perfectly ripe and ready for harvest.  It was then picked and aged in 30% New French Oak for 18 months.  Its deep red fruit reveals creamy layers of black cherry, cassis, cocoa, and spice.  As it opens up in your glass it reveals secondary flavors that will make you happy you waited.  Pairs well with gourmet sausages, stuffed mushrooms, savory tartlets, and spinach mushroom crepes.

2012 Willie's Syrah  $22.00:  He's Back!!!  Willie emerges back on the scene as a winemakers dream.  Picked at full maturity and ripeness, they Syrah grapes from Williamson Vineyards weighed in at only 12% alcohol making it a perfect red wine for a lunch date.  Pairs well with smoked salmon, lox and bagels, and any of your  BBQ favorites.  Try it the Findleton Favorite Way on a toasted english muffin with cream cheese, smoked salmon, and capers.  Cheers!

2012 "Fin Zin" Zinfandel  $20.00:  The new Fin Zin is the bomb.... Literally.  Exploding with dark berries, sweet cocoa, and white pepper, this Zinfandel will blow you away!  It has a full, creamy, layered mouth feel, bursting with berries, and finishing with white pepper that warms you right up.  The grapes came from Stonehaven Vineyard, and were allowed to ripen an extra 2 weeks on the vine soaking up some extra sweetness.  We then aged the wine in 30% New French Oak for 18 months.  Serve with all of your Italian Food Favorites.
