April Wine Club Release

2012 Parrothead Red:  The new vintage of Parrothead Red is a blend of 60% Pinot noir, 20% Mourvedre, and 20% Grenache.  This blend has beautiful color and clarity and exhibits floral aromas of rose petals and strawberries.  Initially, it is light bodied, but midway it opens up with nuances of  cherries and cocoa.  Our new Parrothead Red blend is amooth, balanced, and finishes with intensity.  Enjoy  this versatile wine with all your favorite foods.

2012 Rhone Island Red:  Tom Findleton, the winemaker and owner of Findleton Estate Winery, describes this wine as "Adult Candy" so join us as we "Romance the Rhones" with this delicious blend of 50% Mourvdre, 33% Syrah, & 17% Grenache.  Like any good romance, this wine starts out slow and subtle showing layers of deep cocoa, anise, and soft smoke.  The body is silky smooth, and the finish is explosive, tasting of wild blueberries and agave.

2012 Cooper Barbera:  Our long awaited Cooper Vineyard Barbera will not disappoint!  This mid to full bodied beauty has a rich, full nose exhibiting aromas of dark cherries, cassis and sweet chocolate.  There are undertones of lavender, licorice root, and wild plums.  This extremely balanced wine has a long smooth finish with nice acidity making it the perfect food wine.  Enjoy with Veal Parmesan, Ribeye Steak with Gorgonzola, and other classic Italian favorites.

2011 Cabernet Sauvignon:  "Life is a Cabernet!" is the label title of our "Dancers Cabernet."  Our Cabernet displays a ruby color with a deep purple rim, and exhibits rich, intense aromas of spice, blackberries, and herbal undertones.  It has firm structure, nice balance,  and layered nuances of cherry, dark chocolate, vanilla bean, and white pepper.  Try this amazing wine with your favorite steak and a FEW good friends.
